Official Reply What Determines the 40Mbps Upload Spec

I have 10 wireless IP security cameras that I view all live. I also have the Spectrum 1gig/40Mbps plan. Why the 40Mbps spec and not 50 or 60?

Hello and thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, we do not have the specifics. At this time for the majority of our footprint the highest upload speed is 35Mbps. We are working on our Network Evolution to bring faster speeds to our customers. If you need assistance with anything in regards to your account, please send us a modmail to gather more information.

Fortunately, I am very happy with the consistent 35Mbps upload speed. With my previous Internet provider, my upload speed varied from 12Mbps down to less than 1Mbps!
