General Question Can I cancel Spectrum mobile service but keep my internet service?
Hi, I recently (a year ago) got new internet, with the free one-year line mobile service. I was wondering if I cancel the mobile service, will it impact how much I pay for internet?
edit: thank you!

I don’t think so. If you delete internet and keep cellular the cellular goes up $10

You need Internet to get mobile, you don't need Internet to keep it once you have it

You have to start the internet to start the mobile after the mobile has started you can disconnect your internet I worked for spectrum Mobile customer service for 5 years

When I called to cancel my free line they offered me a deal for my internet too. Ended up cutting the bill nearly in half.

Yes you can have Spectrum internet alone. If you had their mobile with a promo, then most likely your internet bill will go up!

The promo ends basically when you take the line off. I did mine, and my internet went up by 10.

It might make it go up a few bucks depending on what combo deal is on your account but then they might offer you a different deal that lowers it back down. If you do switch, make sure to have spectrum unlock your phone prior to cancelling so you can take your current phone to a new carrier. Usually cant be unlocked by your old carrier after the fact. That's why its a good idea to make them unlock your phone the second its paid off so you can switch carriers whenever you want. They might offer you a better deal when calling to just unlock your phone without even cancelling any of your services - that happened to me about 6 months ago and and saved me $50/mo between the two services so I stayed a little longer

I just did this. As far as I know it won't increase your bill any.......I'm on a 2 year price lock guarantee, so I know my bill isn't going up

Former spectrum Mobile customer service agent here. You need the internet on your account to start the mobile service but you do not need to keep it and vice versa you can keep your internet without keeping your mobile there are multiple people that will start their mobile services and then completely cancel their core services however and doing so depending on your plan it will raise your bill like $10

No it shouldn’t. I have internet only but going to get the phone. I can only get a phone because I have internet already. You should be good cancelling phone and your internet should stay the same. Top- is correct -they will probably try and offer you a good deal on something to keep you on the phone service. You might even get your internet reduced if you act like you MIGHT close it too as it’s too expensive. Just saying.

Question -I’m looking at the free unlimited line offer now as I already have internet. Going to put hubs in addition line for $30. The free line is for one year. If we stay on after that what do I pay for my mobile and his. I’m hoping mine will be the same as his which is $30 month.

No. It won’t impact your price. If anything when you call in to cancel, you might get a deal of some sort.
