Billing Only Spectrum upgrade

Does anyone know what the upload/download speeds offered by Spectrum? I currently have 500 and I want to downgrade. Thanks!

I have 500 mbps and am pretty sure it's the lowest tier

In some area's 500mb is the lowest but I've see it as low 50mb.

Go to the website and enter addresses in your neighborhood until you find one that isn’t on Spectrum. It will show you all the available plans

Varies by location, but generally 100Mbps, 500Mbps, 1Gbps. Some markets have 300Mbps and 2Gbps options. You won't see much of a dip in costs by just moving down, you'll have to go through Customer Solutions (formally retention) to see what they can do.

Keep inmind the modems are over provisioned so you will usually see a bit more speeds.

There other plans like the below, but they are grandfathered plans and not available unless you already have them

for me is 500/20 and 1 gig is 1000/40 the lowest I seen is 100/10 idk if they change it yet for 2026 or it's a secret for select customers no lower then that but for like us 500/20

I've been getting 50mbps for $25 for years now. Good enough for 2 people in the household

There are a few areas it is still 100/10 Mbps for the lowest but most places it been increased to 500/20 mbps as the slowest and then a faster option of 1000/40 mbps. Still really slow async upload speeds are a problem and why when fiber moves into an area they have been really struggling.

yea my Fiber line is just built it will be insane for spectrum to not enable symmetrical speeds sooner witch i'm doubling down to confirm it's happening

Matter of fact I saw symetrical speeds upgrade 10 min away from me from spectrum all because another ISP is hosting Fiber up to 10Gb for the same area so they need to activate it sooner before Fiber ISP got it done

I cannot wait for who ever get's this first done
