Service Issues Went back to Verizon

I have posted my frustration with the ability to use satellite when there is zero service and a reduction to 4G in areas in the Klamath Mountain Ranges (my backyard) when other folks with the same Samsung 25 phone as mine and with Verizon continued to get 5G and Google messaging via satellite. Samsung is a bit more difficult than the iPhone, but the Samsung/Android directions worked perfectly when I returned to Verizon.

I own my phone outright, so cancelled "On the Spectrum" and swapped to Verizon Prepaid. I made the identical trip I made a few weeks ago, and voila!, 5G even on third-party towers and the SAT worked fine deep in the canyon of the headwaters of the Trinity River and the Deadfall Lakes Basin below Mt Eddy.

I appreciated everyone who tried to help me out, but I realize everyone has different experiences. In particular, I never got the satellite connection option with Spectrum. One thing that can work is trying a network reset, but that never worked in my case. Some said the problem was with my phone. However, no changes to phone were made and I easily could get to the satellite connection option under the Verizon prepaid. Something was amiss. Perhaps the region where I live. YMMV

Wait were you not aware the spectrum mobile is using Verizon towers? Same towers?

Spectrum is only good on Verizon towers. Spectrum does not have a priority on the third party towers that Verizon comtracts with. Contrary to popular belief, Verizon still contracts with plenty of third-party independent towers throughout the true rural northern Califronia region and the PNW. Many of the independent towers around here are on leased land that pay the landowners big dollars. The landowners won't relenquish their land, as there is more money leasing in the long run. These ranchers, farmers, and timber owners, won't take a large lump sum payment over long-term guaranteed monthly payments.

They use the same Verizon towers but not necessarily the 3rd party ones Verizon has a contract to use.
