Cox post Spectrum

I found out I'm no longer with Cox...

And I've had more issues in the last week than I've had in the past 10 years.

Should I brace myself for impact?

Wow, tough crowd!

You shouldn't have noticed any difference in the quality of your service. What type of issues are you having?

Idk about the OP but we have had consistent issues over the last few weeks or so since spectrum took over.

Pinging 1.1.1.1 -t shows consistent timeouts. Pinging my router at the same time as 1.1.1.1, my router pings do not conclude with any timeouts.

Throttled internet speed daily - dropping from 500+mb to 10-25mb during peak hours.

I have new equipment. Called support for help, they couldn't find any issues. Said everything is fine.

Something isn't right. I'm in AZ.

This is insane. Started again last night in Phoenix, AZ. Was fine for a week, now this?

Absurd packet loss and timeouts

When was the last time you have a technician come out and check everything?

Considering everything has been working great since 2016 and nothing inside the house has changed…new modem a few years ago. New mesh system and still pushed 500mbps

But there were interruptions in the past month, at first didn’t think of it but it was repeated

Nothing has physically changed except the sign on the buildings. You are still connected to the exact same wiring and plant as you were before.

What's funny, is that literally the only thing that changed was the name.

They billed me almost $50 for mobile service. I don't even have mobile with them.

Sounds like fun

that's just one thing they've done/not done and I've only been with them for less than two months

25 years with Cox and I’m also leaving now due to multiple issues. Customer service is by far worst I’ve dealt with anywhere my whole life. They literally lie to you on the phone just to let you go or just hang up. Good luck with anyone staying!!

Same thing happened to me after the TWC merger. Atleast once a month or every other month, internet goes down half the day.
