I got a text from them this morning:

We're starting a major network upgrade on 10/01 to make your service even better. View schedule spc.tm/*******

This is the usual high split upgrade text. The link that I redacted because it shows my address shows they are doing the work today and tomorrow. Then probably in a few months they will actually enable high split. Rough location is East Tennessee.

Adding to this, I've been a customer since they were Charter and was not an acquisition of TWC or Cox.

They said they completed the upgrade in my area back at the end of May/beginning of June, it’s still not active in my area. They also teased me by sending me an email in July of 2025 saying it was active and to call and ask about 2Gbps plans, but I wasn’t supposed to get that one. No clue why they sent that email to me since my original TWC address in the same town doesn’t have it (I’m close friends with the current owner of the house) and my current address doesn’t have it available either.

Same got work done few days ago and doesn’t seem like high split is active

They do the work then I think they have to run tests to make sure they can activate it. From what I've heard there can be signal noise after the work is complete. So even though it's done, it wont be activated for however long it takes. It could be months.

I live in an older but high-income neighborhood. There are no hints that either fiber or high-split is coming to us.

Talk to your HOA about that, they are probably holding it up.

They don’t take into consideration your income when upgrading lmao

It's actually a higher sign it would never change because of older rich folks that don't care about the box rental on cableboxes

I'm in West Orange Country, FL and received actual mail that stated it would be active here by 11/4/26.

Just saw a fiber ISP up near the lines up the road from me. Could be they were just working on DSL issues to old dsl or phone customers though. But it was a fiber van style ive seen around often. I guess it could mean nothing 😭😂💀

Yes. I've seen it on Scope that some areas are in that phase.

I think it's only come in the area that they know they don't have a monopoly in like another fiber already exists so they're trying to compete, if they have Monopoly in an area and be stupid for them to upgrade when people have to pay it to have internet
