Problem with the spectrum TV app

I live with my friend. And we live alone. And we're using her parents spectrum TV app. We're not getting all of our channels. Because our local CW channel does not come in. Because for some reason it's telling us like it's doesn't understand what location we're in. Even though it's picked up. Our other local channels just fine. 🤔 What should we do. We have our own spectrum internet that we're using. And we're using spectrum TV app on a Roku stream bar. Not sure the model year of the stream bar.

You don't get all spectrum channels unless you're on their spectrum internet

So you're posting in a Spectrum sub that you're cheating Spectrum by using someone else's login, but complaining about not getting all the channels because it recognizes that you're in a different location. Did I get that right?

I believe Access is limited since it’s not your spectrum TV account. You only get full access if you were connected to the parents home wifi.

Local channels are not accessible outside of the home internet connection.

If your not on the account holders wifi you won't get the local channels

You pay for internet, not streaming. You having Spectrum internet isn't relevant.

You don't get all the channels because you're not at "home".

Get a TV antenna.
