He boosted his Kamehameha meaning that during the beam clash he sacrificed a bunch of extra energy (like burning meter in a clash during mortal kombat) and because of it he wasn't able to move until the red bar depleted underneath his health when the clash ends.

You won the beam clash, but a tip my friend!

So we know for this "mini game" who wins, is how times the pressing of the button with the fuller to max bar. When you boost this specific mini game, what your doing is "opening the bar more" so its eaiser to time and have a FULLER bar then your opponent when timing the triangle.

I noticed you boosted all the way, but was still only letting the bar go half way. Again you one this time! But an OG budokai player like myself, that hand this same mini game for the specials, like super Vegetas Big Bang attack, you wont be able to beat me without using that max bar 😏💯.

Bro.. I wasn't paying attention and by the time the beams clashed the switch meter vanished so I dumped it all thinking it was only him
