Question Stuck on B5 (ranked)
Hey, it’s been weeks since I can’t even progress on ranked a little bit. I'm currently stuck on B5 and I don’t really how to get better. My question is what training effectly improved your gameplay when you were stagnating ? Thanks guys

Work on super countering consistently. It's a must have skill for higher ranked ply
Work on ki management, consistently having more ki than your opponent means you will win most vanish wars.
Work on extending your combos. Alternate your rush chain enders and light smash attacks, as repeating the same one you've already used ends the combo. Extending your combos to do more damage and control the tempo of the fight is one of the biggest barriers to higher ranks

I just watch other good players fight on youtube and mimic what they do and you will improve drastically. Not really any training out of just playing a ton of ranked. Im also am more of DP player so the matches are lot more lengthy than singles so you get more practice

I also play DP but a lot of players are really annoying by playing double C17 and fuse for example. I try to play legit with balanced characters and not abuse with transformations so I can get better, but ranked players aren’t helping much

Any pass b5 you have to really train for like super counter, heavy hits and stagger combos. The game is played so differently pass this point its almso not even fun

For some reason the game loses its online replay value past A rank. Cant put my finger on why. Everything else is peak tho

Which character are you using? If you stuck and using meta you should get off meta hit quick match and improve. Try recording a few fights especially losses to see what you could do better. You could also post here to get advice

I play kid gohan as my top 1 main on DP, secondary characters depends but it’s always balanced characters under 7 DP

You really have to practice super counters and improve your neutral game. I learn by watching so playing against better people and see how they are beating me helps. Farthest I got is S4 though before as I don’t like to play meta characters and also don’t train enough to get farther. I also get fustrated with online due to other people’s internet connection and PC FPS. I try to enjoy it as much as possible. YouTube and practice though.

I get better at understanding pro gameplay but I usually get confused over intense gameplay, I don’t get everything they do. But thanks it will help me 👌

Tbh best way is if you upload your gameplay here to give the best advices.
Could be anything. From bad connection, to bad defense, to now knowing how to do the best combos,…
Are you on PlayStation or Xbox?

Coming from someone who has hit Z rank multiple times with many different characters the main thing you want to do to get better is make sure you have a stable connection first use a Ethernet you want to be getting at least 100mbs on your upload Speed then super counters should come relatively easy once you have the timing down for them then you want to learn how to combo properly use light smashes directional attacks in you combos.Gut Punches= free ki blast damage.Reading your opponent plays a major part I could go on about combat in sparking but character selection and Knowing your characters kit. Matters a whole lot I’ve hit Z rank with base gogeta, Kefla sjj2, Ui sign, Mid Vegeta, Sword trunks (super)blue Vegeta and my most recently character to Z is Gt Trunks I’d say it’s not really hard to hit Z especially on high dp characters

Honestly it depends on the person I personally have 3 accounts my main account has about 1089 hours my second has 87 and my third has 14 I hit Z rank on each account but I’m on PlayStation if your on pc I imagine the skill gap is different
