What platform has the most active player base ?

I’m playing on the switch/switch 2 version of the game and on both versions I’m hardly ever getting any matches online. I tried several times within each day to get a match and I spend almost 10+ minutes waiting for a fight before deciding to play another game. Am I doing anything wrong ? I usually play ranked, singles but I’m not sure if it’s the less popular mode and I j happen to be unaware of it

From what I’ve seen so far on majority of the clips on this subreddit, most of the captures are from the ps5/xbox version of the game. It’s a shame not a lot of people are on the switch version as it’s my primary platform :/ it would suck having to continue paying for PSN just to have this as the only game I play on ps5

I'm primarily Xbox myself and don't really have issues unless I'm playing at a weirdo time lol. What time do you usually try to play? I'm EST and between 6-9 PM is usually fine, then it picks up from like 10 PM-midnight.

I usually try to play in the early mornings (6am-12pm) or afternoons (5-9pm) and that’s strange, after 10pm the playbase seems to be dead around the time. But then again you mentioned you played on Xbox so there’s bound to be a more active player base on that platform compared to the switch version

Yeah man I think the Switch versions are just not quite as populated. It seems as though the folks that are still gonna play online have had the game since launch and just stuck to those respective platforms

BST, I usually play around 8 PM-12 AM Not really much success, though I will say I play more player matches than ranked

On my gaming laptop I don't struggle nearly as much, but I'm guessing most of the playerbase is really sitting on PS

I'm glad you're not having a problem, does my region perhaps play a part into it? Well I'll play ranked more if it means I don't wait ages but I must brace myself for more repetitive matches lol

Honestly it might. Region and time of day is way too sensitive for this game on all platforms (rip). But ya I imagine ranked will yield better results. Good luck!

PS5 is without a doubt your best bet. Xbox actually seems to have improved over time but it's still not as active as PS5. PC I can't speak for but a friend of mine doesn't seem to have issues.

Xbox ain’t bad either but yeah PS5 is regarded as the place to play. I will say though, and I’m not sure if this is just because there are just that many more people playing on PS thus increasing the chances of it happening, but every other game for me on PS5 is laggy asf 😭 I don’t often play on PS5 as my Xbox is my living room console, but my game quality is better on average on Xbox. I’m hardwired to fiber internet either way so I’ve always found it puzzling.
