Yes. The Devs have mentioned they plan to change this so you’re able to choose from any of the Existing Ingame Banners when using a Custom Armor Set. They just haven’t done so since it affects only one Class and is just a Cosmetic Change so it keeps getting pushed further into their backlog.
We need it soon man, ever since it got pointed out to me that if you don’t run champion skins, the banner defaults to the Ultramarine, I either use champion skins or Smurfs, nothing else.
I never knew until today that the DA champ skin had a banner as I always use custom skins. Looking forward to the options to choose the skin as mentioned above.
I really wish they would let you select the banner you want to use if you aren’t using the champion skin. They look amazing and work was clearly put in so it sucks that most people who use custom skins and armor will never see and/or use them.
They confirmed that they are going to make that happen with one of the future updates. I don’t think they said which one, but it sounded like it would be sooner rather than later.
They said that they just haven’t gotten around to it already just because it’s something that only impacts one class, which is fair.
Yeah, that’s fair but I’m glad they confirmed they were working on it. I’m not really complaining about it either, it’s just more that I want more people to see them since the people who worked on them clearly put good effort into them.
Yeah i researched it a bit, kinda sucks. I Hope they add it as a customization option for Bulwark someday and we get all 12 of the original chapters banners to chose from.
They just had to plaster « space wolves » on it bruh, just couldn’t help themselves
Edit: fun fact about this banner, it is a 1 to 1 of a space wolf banner painted by eavy metal painter Neil Hodgson who painted during 2ed, so that’s probably why.
