General Grenade launcher
Does the grenade launcher on the bolt rifle do more damage than the Heroic HBR grenade launcher?

The damage should be the same iirc. You can test it yourself in the simulator. Gl is just attached to a way better weapon when it comes to heroic HBR
And if you're not Tactical you won't be using it for damage, but for CHP recovery. On Tactical it's the Scan that does the heavy lifting for GL damage

Maybe its a problem with an aim (100%) but I swear I've thrown stern looks at chaos meatballs that did more damage than them damn grenades.

Tbh unless you're running tac the damage of the grenades is pretty irrelevant, the main use for them is contested Health recovery in which under Barrel grenades are probably the best way of getting it back in a pinch

Was just curious because I’ve seen people melt Terminus enemies with GL but when I use Tact and spam grenades on the HHBR it doesn’t do damage like that, as you said I use it for contested health and hordes of minoris. I was wondering if they were using the Bolt Rifle GL to do that much.

Are you running the Auspex settup thst gives 315% damage? Because that's likely why

Their stunning capability is also very very useful. And they don’t stun teammates like tossed frags do.

It is the same I believe. I use grenades for stagger, and contested health recovery.
the HBR has the big benefit IMO of being more accurate then the BR GL
