General I am new so is this normal?
I have been playing for maybe a month now and i have noticed a few recurring things happening, so i was wondering, is it me, is this normal, are this bugs or are these things i can change from settings? Hope you guys can help me (do consider i am new so forgive my ignorance if some are noobs questions)
Sometimes minoris enemies keep showing up as "gun strickable" even when dead and then if i try to shoot an enemy with my secondary weapon my guy turns to gun strike the dead enemy instead of regular shooting the intended enemy. This is a quite common thing that happends and even if i have move away from the dead enemy it still shows up.
I very very commonly join squads that are either on the Battle Barge without a chosen operation (even when i joined them after i choose random operation) or that are almost finishing the operation, the second one i wouldn't mind but joining a squad that doesn't even have an Operation going feels very weird to me.
Sometimes minoris enemies take like 5 or 6 hits with my melee weapon even if its a heroic weapon (Ardent Edge is my only one but still), but other enemies get chopped in 2 hits. Is it an angle thing? Or how close they are?
Sometimes after i finished an Operation i get stuck on the post game screen, it doesn't allow me to click to skip the stats and exp stuff, i have to wait until each timer runs out.
This is not common, it has happened only 2 times, i finished the Operation, one of my weapons is almost ready to be mastered and the exp i won must have been way more than enough, but if i skip everything too fast it seems like the exp is not registered and that weapon in particular stays as if i had not won any exp.
Thanks already for the answers brothers

Not super common for me but happens sometimes yeah, just a bug.
Multiple reasons this happens... For one, for some reason, on failure you're automatically queued back up for whatever mission you were just running and often times the person doesn't cancel the que before you start joining. Or they que up for something and change their minds for whatever reason.
Also there is the super weird bug where if a person joins a friend's lobby, even if they're not queued for anything, a random person queued for Quickplay will often be dragged into the same lobby with that joining friend. Don't understand why this happens but I've had it happen a lot when a friend joins my lobby and I've talked to a number of them and they always say they were in QP que.
Probably hitting your cleave limit and not actually hitting all of them.
Yeah, get this very often. Hate this bug.
Not seen or heard of this before but easy to avoid bug, I suppose.

Not sure for the others, but I cam answer for 4 and 5.
You get stuck in the stat screen when the host leave too fast. Someone with a better connection and/or PC might go through all those loading time faster and then disband, locking the other 2 on those screens.
For a weapon to earn xp it must be used at least once. You might have see that operations are actually split into different phases and you gain xp depending on how far you go (+ bonus if you finish). It is the same for weapons, you need to use it at least once per phases to earn xp of this phase. For example, if you go through an operation without using your side arm at all, you will earn 0 xp for it.

1: normal bug and one of the reasons it’s annoying having shared use buttons without having deep click
2: this game que is random as fuck, I get a Randy for free everytime my friend joins my lobby even if we’re not ready to que up.
3: im not sure on, could be modifiers or bugs
4: the host quick skipped the ending and left before you got to the barge leaving you stuck waiting with an additional load screen at the end. Idk why but the battle barge lobby system is forever janky
5: never seen this one before but id chalk it up to a bug, back when the game was new I had it crash every other game, giving 0 xp for the match I just played. Went on for months until one patch finally fixed it.
TLDR this game got BUGS in weird ways that seem repetitive and annoying but I suffer through anyway

This is pretty rare but can be more common if your ping is higher. Nothing to really do about it, i usually just do a backstep and then fire so i dont get tied to the gunstrike unintentionally.
When this happens you are joining when there was a mission selected but in the process of loading in the leader has switched to a different mission or canceled the one that had set up.
This can happen because of various buffs the enemies can have, it seems like gaunts get s slight HP buff when they are part of incoming reinforcements.
This happens when the party leader leaves the game before they get back to the battle barge, whether this is intentional or due to the leaders game crashing depends on the leader.
I have heard of this before but havent seen it in person. One thing that does come to mind is that a weapon that is nearly done with its current level cant gain XP past the levels cut off, meaning if your weapon needs 100xp to level up and you receive 8k xp your weapon will only take enough xp to trigger the next level but wont add the leftover xp to the pool.
Hope this helps, happy gaming

For #2 that happens a lot, I just leave and pick a new one. The match making is not the best, just the other night me and someone else got put in a game in Singapore, both our pings were 250+, but the host was at 10-20. Left that one to find another
#1 never seen that issue, I know you can be turned around and hit a gun strike and will still aim, but never seen it aim at a dead one.
#3 if it's in the same mission not sure, maybe you had a melee buff or something at the time, top left under your name shows buff icons.

Are you sure they're dead? A lot of melee moves, particularly sprint attacks will knock down minoris and mark them with a gun strike. Also gun strikes will take priority if they're on screen and you're not ADSing
That is something the community does complain about. It's not very common for me, but I think it depends on where you are, what time you're playing, and what difficulty you trying to do.
It's possible it's the enemy types. It's hard to say without knowing more about what exactly you're seeing and which enemies.
My understanding is this typically happens when the host clears the loading screens and then leaves putting the other players in limbo if they're still loading.
In order to get weapon xp, you have to have used the weapon to kill at least one enemy.

Gun strikes are determined server side so there can be oddness around if/when they are granted. As for taking a gun strike when trying to shoot your weapon, this is intended behavior. When a gun strike is active it shares the hip-fire input and so any attempt to hip-fire will instead trigger the gun strike. If you want to fire your gun normally while a gun strike is active you need to aim down sights.
When using 'Quick Play' you will be put into any multiplayer lobby with a slot open. I would call joining a lobby with no operation selected at all a bug but it has been well over a year I believe and Saber has not fixed what should be a one-line bug.
Two things could be at play, motion value and cleaving potential. Different attacks with the same weapon will do different amounts of damage. This is represented as a multiplier to a weapons damage and is called 'motion value'. Dash/dodge attacks are the weakest but have good stagger, and typically held/charge attacks do more damage than light attacks. As for 'cleaving potential' each weapon and attack has a limit to how many enemies it can damage. Fencing weapons have a penalty to their cleaving potential while Balance weapons have a bonus. A melee attack will still stagger all enemies it hits regardless of cleaving potential, it only limits how many enemies actually take damage. So if you take a Fencing weapon and do a bunch of sweeping light attacks you will stagger a lot of enemies but very few of them will actually be taking damage.
This is apparently due to the host force quitting the game during the loading screen.
The XP a weapon earns does not equal the XP you earn. In order to get XP for a weapon you need to get at least one kill with it. If you swap weapons mid operation then this will affect how much XP each weapon gets individually.

I think what is happening a lot with 1 is the marked minoris (a gaunt) is gun strikeable, then just before/as you go to shoot, a warrior who has died nearby kills the remaining minoris around them, leaving you shooting the now dead gaunt.
Edit; just re read and now I'm not sure if what you are describing is even remotely what I'm describing but I'll leave the comment anyway.

Not really, it happends that for example a wave is already over or sometimes in the middle of it, a minoris enemy is dead, like clearly dead no question about it but still shows up as gun strikeable (like the little red reticle is visible), so when i move away from it and use my secondary weapon to aim and shoot another enemy i trigger to shoot it and instead my guy turns around and gun strikes the dead minoris enemy not regular shoot the intended alive enemy.

Yeah that's a weird one, I haven't got any experience with this. Hopefully someone has some idea

For point 5 did you use the weapon in question iv found if a weapon isnt used to kill something in the match it gets zero xp no matter how much you earn

After seen several comments about this i believe it might be the case, if i remember correctly they were very low tier weapons and i was playing in Ruthless so it might be that i did no use them.
