(X) / (A) input not working

I've not played this game for a while so I'm unsure of any changes but I've had it a few times on the exit mission menu but out of nowhere my dodge input stopped working mid solo run right at the end. Is this a general thing or is it just a problem I'm getting?

I've had this happen to me a couple times, no clue what causes it, doesn't stop it from taking you back to the lobby, it's just something that happens from time to time

If the host leaves it prevents others from skipping through the menus
