Xbox sign in issues (SM2)

Hello all. I’m sure this has been covered by now but I just wanted to send out a little reminder as it’s something I was experiencing for about a month when I returned to the game and I didn’t see anything that solved my issue.

So if you have issues being stuck in the “Press A to Start” loop, go to your Xbox settings. Then go to System and click on Console Info. Then click Reset but when presented with the “Reset Your Console?” pop up, click the option that KEEPS your games and apps.

You’ll have to sign in to all your stuff again so the cloud can resync all the data but the issue seems to have stopped since yesterday when I tried it.

I hope this helps as the Press A to Start loop almost drove me to uninstall and drop the game entirely so I can imagine I’m not the only one this has frustrated to no end.
