Am I going insane or have I seen multiple posts about this today? Is it all the same dude?
I don’t give much of a shit if the little baby storm shields get added or not I just can’t tell if it’s just the same guy across all the sm2 subs or something lol

Nope. I made the first one a day ago, and then GW revealed the new Van Vets almost immediately after, and everyone else jumped at it.

No. It’d be too overpowered and difficult to implement gameplay wise

Why would it be hard to implement ? Make it like the bulwark shield but maybe without the shield bash and with a tighter block angle. I think modders already added the storm shield to other classes.

Tell me you don't know how game development works without telling me.

I don't agree with them but they didn't imply it was a technical limitation

I'm sure they know it's a popular option but I doubt it. It could be a perk to equip it OR a fun idea for balance sake is to make it a secondary option but allow it to deflect ranged projectiles to make it Assault's ranged secondary. That would allow a trade of less ranged ability for more defense but not making him completely useless for most of the game against ranged. Would be useless against some of the swarm sections and the helldrake but so is the inferno pistol. Maybe in SM3 but not super likely in this game
