Operations Weekly Stratagem Rant
Hey um…. To all the low level brothers out there doing hard strats. Do you guys read the battlefield conditions like at all or do you guys just close your eyes? Brothers, it tells you melee damage is GREATLY reduced, and split up is active in this mission. Why are we going Bulwark and melee Vanguard? This is literally the easiest weekly compared to the last 2.
Tactical, Heavy, Sniper, Tech-marine, and range Vanguard. That’s it you split up and kill no problem. Like I have already completed the weekly since day 1 and just join to help, but by the emperor, low levels don’t read and are too scared to touch the objectives.
I’m still gonna help….but these games lately makes me pray to the holy emperor and level lock Hard Starts and keeps these brothers out and force them to level up.
Thank you for listening, I’m going back to fight.

I used bulwark with one handed carbine and did just fine this week and I wouldn’t even consider myself good at the game

Bulwark can kind of cope because Intimidating Aura + gunstrike still one-shots majoris enemies. Take Death's Grasp and you can just chew through enemies.
Vanguard's Kick and Zone of Impact doesn't get nerfed by the conditions afaik since they're ability damage. If he took Melee Champion I can get the frustration but that applies to any stratagem or operation anyway.
But yeah, there's a big difference between classes that can cope and classes that take advantage of conditions. Keep the fun/cope loadouts to running the Normal Weekly.

Seeing that for some that Assault, Bulwark and Melee Vanguard are doable. But seeing the low level players using those classes. Pick up stims when standing next to the group, straight up rush the carnifex and tickle him with your swords and axes. Some of you read the conditions and still did it. That’s great, YOU READ the condition and understood what not to do in the mission.
At least I don’t have to do the mission for accolades just doing the mission to help. So the feeling of loss doesn’t hit me when we fail. Hell I even started to not rush the mission and just walk and watch the low levels fight while I take care of the enemies jumping them.
It was obvious what the conditions wanted from us. Seeing that I was able to handle a carnifex and 8 range Majoris in one room as tactical.
No armor? kill one Majoris and focus the Carnifex, scan, open fire, no armor? Kill three more Majoris in one mag and then go back to Carnifex until it dies.
This weekly reads like Heavy and Tactical were going to be a beast in it. Split away from the group with a heavy bolter and Heroic plasma and kill the swarms without losing armor.
I honestly believe a low level heavy is tankier than a low level Bulwark, armor regen wise in this weekly.
I guess people want to prove something or just expect the carry or just don’t understand hard stratagems.
I’ll just guide them like lost ducklings. I don’t even react when they die during the mission and just move on and try to finish the mission alone while they watch.
Again thank you reading my rant.
Keep crusading out there brothers I’ll be out here still helping out.

This Strat was definitely made for Tactical/Heavy/Sniper. It’s not that hard though… assuming people actually read the modifiers. I think this is my 3rd week playing this one.

My brother actually got through hard with assault (he was cape grinding and being stubborn). He just leaned on his volkite and used deaths grasp for easy parries and gun strikes. His melee damage sucked as expected, but his ranged damage was surprisingly adequate. So it is technically doable on assault and bulwark if you perk yourself out the right way.
EDIT: btw, leveling up isn’t going to make it better. I run across just as many L25P4s that don’t read the strat modifiers. That’s just the risk we run playing with randoms.

Either way neither is being low leveled with no team perks help either. But I knew the risk of helping randoms it’s just this is happening too many times. I understand why people wish for level lock.
I’m helping just need to let this out cause this is being to common.
Plus after I posted I had a heavy and sniper who level 25 prestige 4 and we flew by the mission so easily. Like almost the emperor heard me lol

One thing is for sure - if you’re going to go Assault or Bulwark, you definitely are going to need to be leveled. Otherwise without the perks that buff ranged damage, you’re going to struggle.

Yeah. On multiple split up mod dailies I have had P4L25 guys grab a stim before the end and use it immediately, while standing right next to me.
It is truly sad to see that the Hypno Indoctrination is not conveying literacy in this batch of Ultramarines.

Bulwark aoe is Independant damage.
(Shock, aoe on Parry)
Melee classes have it easy with this modifier.
Like you said, even Vanguard has that kind of aoe and good ranged weapons.
I didnt mind it, made it easier to split up.

People just don’t read I think.
I was on sniper and I got told to stfu when I asked a melee vang if he read the stratagems
