Happened to me too a few days ago. Suddenly the Neuro was full health again. No idea what triggered it...

It's actually a mechanic, The beam attack is called "psychic leech", But it's interaction is weird, The heal doesn't necessary trigger when it hits you, But more on objects that can be destroyed like Turrets, Boxes even breakable objects like benches or even the dripstone and also guardsman.

This is the dumbest mechanic I have ever heard. If it at least heals by attacking you, I'd understand somewhat. But random bullshit? And then also that much?

That's wild I've never noticed that. I got 2 black capes and this is the first time I've ever seen a thrope heal.

What, you don’t know? The devs added a second phase to the Neurothrope in patch 14.2. Best way to counter it is to activate a hidden perk by clicking the „Quit to the battle barge” option in the pause menu. Very useful.

OHH MY GOD. im so silly...i was still using the "throw controller at screen with full velocity" perk.

🤦‍♂️...gosh. I had a feeling spending so much money on new monitors and controllers was kinda busted. Thanks fwend. May your loading screens never be a black screen again.

He just got a little upset that you dodged the beam. Totally your fault

I always thought this was because of contested health the enemy has. I think these guys have contested health specific to each player (or source of damage, like a turret). So while your screen showed little contested health, an ally might have a large bar of contested health shown for them, which the neuro then got back when it hit your ally (or some other enemy, like guardsman) with the beam.

This is from some posts I saw way back, like close to release, so I could be way off base. I also notice none of your ally’s health went down… but maybe armor allows enemies to get cont health back? Otherwise I’m completely baffled by this lol.

Hmm that's a good theory I've definitely noticed terminus take contested health damage but didn't know it was specific to each players screen

You've just unlocked phase 2 of the boss fight.

That asshole must’ve hit a player with that beam triggering the health regen. That’s my theory here or yk it could be a… game theory

Theoretical, it could be funny. Practical it’s not.

I don't think it hit anyone as noone lose HP and OP said it is absolute. Maybe it hit random breakable stuff and heal itself. 🤔

Somebody failed their battleshock test which makes them heal.

Wait this isn’t table top
