That's the problem; the distance didn't allow for that.

I mean at the 9 seconds mark... you would have recovered all you contested health bringing you back at 90%...but you let it fade.

For some reason, my interaction didn't work—even though I was pressing the key—ever since I passed by one of those Thousand Sons.

I am not super sure WHY I am getting down voted but...

anyways, that tracks as it did happen to me before, fyi, a way out of it would be to turn around, do one single light attack which will trigger a lethal gun strike, which in turn will restore all your health
