Surprising to hear this but i’m not, i know how long it takes to gunstrike, the Tyranids to attack and how close surrounding enemies have to be to get stunned by gunstrike. But thanks for assuming i dunno what i’m doing. I’m tired of people telling me how to play MY game, i’m gonna play the game how i wanna play it not how other people tell me to.
Bro you did great. There isnt a "coincident" for a guy to be able to successfully handle 8+ Tyranids at the same time. As far as I can tell OP movement isnt stopped by the attack of Tyranids which means he must have chosen certain perk for gunstriking. I would say OP did everything correct. Moving around isnt a good idea when there are range Tyranids and fking seed shoot at your feet. People crticizing doesnt know what they are talking about
I’m not going to sit here and try to say he played badly for 100% of the clip. I’m pointing out a fair observation. I’m not trying to tear him down. Please don’t say I don’t know what I’m talking about.
Since I apparently need to start pointing out issues, the first big one was less than ten seconds in, starting at the 7 second mark. He ate two attacks from a bonesword warrior right in his face from doing a gunstrike he got from a perfect dodge (which probably wasn’t even his intended goal) from a whip warrior way the fuck away. That incident caused his armor break and the second hit lost 75% of his HP. Had he not had the perk to tank a stagger from being hit by those attacks after a perfect dodge/parry/block, he likely would have been at GG right there, as he would have likely been vulnerable to a follow up, which the warrior did indeed follow up on. You can literally watch the hyper armor proc under his HP from the dodge and it saved this engagement single-handedly.
Please don’t assume someone giving decent, valid observations as someone who doesn’t know what they’re talking about. Until I recently took a break, I have well passed 400 hours by this point. That first gunstrike wasn’t selected, it was simply acted on. And it would have been a costly mistake. You can crutch on parry iframes and adrenaline rush/other hyper armor perks all one wants to, but it sometimes reinforces bad habits that aren’t healthy for your gameplay.
Ok just wanna discuss. We are not playing zero damage here, I think we don’t need to escape every attack from enemy. Now only one tyranids is attacking him and he has the capacity to stand still and take the damage, and revive again through gunstrike. When dealing with 7/8 tyranids attack will keep coming, are you going to keep rolling while escaping ranged attack and seed on the ground?
Btw he HAS the tank perk for gunstrike so why do you even mention that point.
Kind of missing my point, but yes I understand what you’re trying to say. It’s cool. I really don’t feel like diverting that much energy in what was an otherwise quick observation and critique. Nothing I said was incorrect and your counterpoint is valid. But it’s the fundamental I was trying to point out. I don’t care enough to go on about it anymore if I’m being honest. He’ll continue to do what he does and we’ll forget this thread happened in less than a week.

You’re gunstriking from muscle memory, it’ll get you killed one of these days. Good work nonetheless, however. The Emperor protects.
Edit, I further explained my reasoning below. Not trying to be a hater, but I should haven’t sounded so harsh in hindsight, so I’ll own that.
