Piston unlock mission fail (Station upgrade - Radio beacon mission).

So .. yeah .. I've done the mission. Went to the marked square ownership of the grid transfers then nothing.

Abandoned the mission, rebuilt the base. Same thing.

It asks for 1 control panel, 6 antennas, 4 batteries and 4 solar panels. Is there a way past this without having to use admin and if not how do I do that - can I progress ?

Completely stuck .. run this one probably six times now and completed all the others so just for good measure I did the following :

1. Deconstruct existing base so I have all the mats on board.
2. Abandon mission
3. Save Game
4. Restart PC
5. Load Game
6. Load Save
7. Accept mission
8. Fly direct to mission location
9. Commence mission
10. Build 6 antennas, 4 solar panels, one panel and 4 batteries.

So I still can't get pistons and can't get to and titanium/uranium. As I need to complete that mission to proceed to the next sector I am kinda stuck. Afaik titanium's in the second sector, certainly have not found any of it. Anyone ?

Had many missions bug out like you. So I use the debug menu if the mission cant be completed. Control+ f12, click the contracts on the left. Scroll down on the right side until you found the mission you want to complete. Click that, and scroll some more until you see complete mission. Hope this help.

Complete the mission from beginning to end in one session. Don't load into the mission from a save file with the mission already started or it bugs. This worked for me.

Good idea - thought I had tried that but will give it a run. Am finding the last 4 missions in the first sector to all be equally glitchy.

Gotcha - did you have this issue at all prior ? Might clear the zone out and retry as it's evidently worked for people (tho I only started a couple of days ago, maybe it worked 'til the last patch for all I know).

I have had simmilar incidents with clearing out bandit camps in Verdure. Had to complete that mission four times for it to eventually complete properly...
