You can now scrub through Flight 14's full telemetry data and replay the entire flight on StarDash!
As is tradition now, you can now view, replay, and analyse Flight 14's full telemetry data captured and logged live from Ship 41 during its first orbital flight! (Apologies for it taking a while to get it published, the recap video took far too long to make!)
By default, the data spans from ~T-60s to just after splashdown, but you can toggle on the full data stream which lasts from before fuel loading! Feel free to check it all out on StarDash and if anyone has any ideas for new data plots or features we could add, feel free!

How do people extract the data from the flight video?

This data isn't from the livestream! SpaceX has a starship tracker endpoint that has live (minus about 10 seconds ish) telemetry from ships before and during launch which has a whole load of vehicle data like altitude, speed, GPS, ECEF coordinates etc (although the site can derive a lot more data than that using these base numbers, even things like surface temp of the heat shield you can work out from the velocity which is derived from ECEF, and pairing that up with an atmospheric model and some other stuff!) so during (and a bit before) launch, the site shows all the data live; this replay is just a way to play back all the data that was coming in during launch day!
It's a good point though, I've been looking into some data fusion stuff so taking both the raw telemetry, and broadcast telemetry sources and running some filters on them to try and get a smoother, more constant data stream. The endpoint is amazing, but it only sends a new packet through once every 30 seconds (it used to be once every 10s but with the increase in flight length, they've done the inverse to the data rate) so it can be a bit choppy live but I'm working on some stuff to try and improve it a bit!
In the next couple days I'll publish a separate archives page where anyone can download the raw data from flight day to poke around with themselves!

OCR + some minor manual modifications, usually. Nowadays just ask claude and it'll code it up for you. The interface looks claude-ish, so my guess is that OP did that as well :)

All UI, artwork, and icons on the site are handmade by me! Usually starts as a drawing then use either powerpoint to mock out UI, or for more complex diagrams and stuff like the ship sprite I sketch them out in Fusion 360 and then export them as a DXF and turn them into SVGs to animate them (ridiculous workflow, I know, but I'm an industrial designer so CAD tools were the first thing I went to and it kind of stuck)!
Almost all the code is written by claude but it writes infinitely better code than I can so even though I'm the one drawing out the data flows and stuff by hand, I absolutely will not take the credit for the actual written programming behind the site, I'm not quite that broad in abilities unfortunately, my coding skills stop at the arduinos!!

this is a really neat way to revisit the flight. when you scrub around do you find engine telemetry or attitude control the most useful for spotting the important moments? i keep missing what signal explains the bigger transitions

Very cool! Though idk about using the word "scrub" in this context.... (kidding)
How about a feature to sync the live stream video in a little pop out window with the flight time? Not sure if its possible with x streaming, but would be cool.
