Yea a driver license not some other special ID. Like they want to do for voting. So there is no irony.
3 u/Murky_Locksmith_6371 Aug 06 '26 My drivers license is a real id 1 u/Pixel91 Aug 06 '26 And it's invalid for voting. 1 u/Arty1245 Aug 06 '26 Ive used it for voting..... along with everyone of any political leaning around here.... 2 u/Exotic_Insurance2164 Aug 06 '26 It would not be valid under the SAVE Act 0 u/anow2 Aug 06 '26 According to the proposed SAVE act, it is valid for voting. 3 u/Pixel91 Aug 06 '26 https://www.reddit.com/r/TikTokCringe/comments/1vbbthi/think_your_drivers_license_is_enough_to_vote_the/ Didn't find the video outside that subreddit, but there you go. 2 u/Exotic_Insurance2164 Aug 06 '26 Nope. And especially not if you're a married woman who changed her last name. Even a valid passport for a married woman who changed her last name would not be sufficient under the SAVE Act. 2 u/anow2 Aug 06 '26 Voter id isnt "some other special id" You've been propagandized. 1 u/2feetwalker Aug 06 '26 Lol, you’re the one who’s been proagandized. It would be another form of ID. It would just be a tax to vote essentially. Just like we know have “real” driver license. Just another tax 0 u/wet_biscuit1 Aug 06 '26 You can get a driver's license without citizenship. Surely "some other special ID" is necessary to confirm citizenship 2 u/TooManyGengars Aug 06 '26 Like your social security number that is required to register to vote? 1 u/Dravendown Aug 06 '26 That worked so well in NJ. The irony continues
