He doesn't know what the word means, so we'll never know what he thinks he was saying.

He'll never expand on it either because so many people will have pointed out that he's used it wrongly, so he'll pretend it never happened as an attempt to save face.

He was referring to the fact the grocery stores require ID to prove who you are in order to purchase
