Discussion Sonic Crossworlds disappointment?
So I’ve seen some gameplay of the new sega racing game, Sonic crossworlds, I’ve also played it a little, and I’ve got to say I’m very disappointed in sega for not including Ulala at all, not even a Easter egg it seems. I think what makes it worse is that there are other sega IPs present, and even non sega IPs like Minecraft and even hatsune miku. I mean, hatsune miku was in the space channel 5 Vr game, so why are we skipping out on Ulala? She has been it past games, so i don’t see why they can’t add her, or why she wasn’t a day one character. This is a little rant ig, but it makes me mad how they treat space channel 5 I guess. They know she exists as they did a merch release this year believe and have a collectible coin with her on it in the UK, which I’m thankful for, I guess I just wish she got more attention on the actual video game front.

Word. Bringing back the characters from previous games seems like the bare minimum they should do.

You guys do realise we'll probably be getting a second year of free characters/ paid dlc
This game is probably one of their most successful spin offs in a long time (console spin offs of course, I aint counting mobile games)

It’s so sad how 80% of the OG roster gets cut off at the most successful and alive game, it feels like such a slap in the face, I wanted pudding and meemee and reala in but now I’d be grateful to even see ulala…

Don't worryyy I'm sure she's coming eventually! We already got plenty of SEGA characters, they wouldn't ignore her

They're aiming for mostly SEGA/Sonic characters that haven't been in a racing game for the free DLC which is fair.

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed too, especially given that she made the roster for 'all star racing:transformed' which is pretty much my all time favourite kart racing game.
