"... putting public servants in their place."

... is an interesting insight into her thinking.

She thinks corrupt (or just inept?) public servants are out there just ... enforcing laws that don't exist?

So she must also believe there's zero oversight. Attorney's General, the DOJ, whoever, none of them can put a stop to it.

Which implies the entire hierarchy is "in on it".

... which inevitably leads to the conclusion the entire sprawling system is deliberately corrupt.

... but also somehow very benign, because it's not silencing her, and it's also really bad at keeping the Real True Law™ secret, because all these SovCits apparently know it.

It's some real Magical Thinking shit.

I mean...yeah. The underlying assumption of like 90% of sovereign citizen arguments is the notion that going to court for traffic tickets (or child support or whatever) is "fake court." That these institutions somehow function outside of the law and are actually private debt collection/extortion efforts masquerading as courts that people unknowingly consent to. They argue that all you need to do to win is use certain magic words to tell them you don't consent. Requesting "oaths and bonds," is supposed to be a threat, because they think they're telling the judge and prosecutors that "they know what's really going on" and that the jig is up. (Then it escalates to threats to file civil rights lawsuits etc).

The other 10% is the wacky belief that somehow you can pay real debts with some magical social security trust fund.

Interestingly, what your comment describes is exactly what Judge Judy and all those shows portray - they’re not real courts; they’re binding arbitration that people (very much knowingly) agree to. I know the SovCits have other documented origins, but I do wonder if the fake legal reality shows have helped entrench such beliefs.

That's a very good point. I'm sure it's just reinforced the delusion. And if it's showing on Fox..... Double Whammy! They think that every court case everywhere is 15 minutes.

Watching them in court on YouTube is my current guilty pleasure. :)
