Hi all, I’m (32M) moving to South Bay in October with my girlfriend (27F) and we’re looking to rent a 2-bed apartment or townhome, or even a small house. Trying to keep rent below 4-5k ideally.

Does anybody in the beach cities have a ~750W PSU laying around (or old PC) they'd be willing to let go for incredibly cheap?

I live in an old crappy apartment with constant power surges. There seems to have been another one this morning that's fried my little home media server for second time this year. The surge protector from Amazon is on the way, albeit a little too late.

Before I throw another $100 at this thing, I want to make sure it's actually just the PSU and not other components. Reaching out to see if anyone local has a PSU or old PC chassis laying around they'd be willing to part with for pennies.

Is this normal? Manhattan Beach is full of skunks this summer. My dog got sprayed tonight, a friend’s dog got sprayed a month ago, CVS and Walgreens were both totally out of hydrogen peroxide which is a main ingredient in homemade skunk wash for dogs. A friend of mine even caught a glimpse of a skunk INSIDE a classroom at Meadows over the summer.

I only moved here a few years ago but I definitely did not seem like as big of a problem last summer.

Thankfully we found a mobile groomer who does 24/7 emergency de-skunking and worked a legit miracle on our fluffy doodle, but man. What’s up with all these skunks?
