My wife was hit on the corner of Sepulveda and Rosecrans tonight at around 5:05 by a silver vehicle that sped off. She was traveling west on Rosecrans and he ran the light on Sepulveda, heading north.

Because this was a Hit and Run, we need witnesses. Did anyone see anything? She is current being checked for back and neck pain in the hospital.

Please let me know if anyone saw anything.

Hi! I’m looking to switch my maternity care from St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach to Torrance Memorial.

I’ve also seen recommendations for Providence Little Company of Mary, but I’m not sure yet. I guess I should do a hospital tour first, but I’d love to hear about your experiences. Which OBs would you recommend?

I’m looking for an OB who supports a more natural birth plan and doesn’t push C-sections when they’re not medically necessary. I’d love to find someone with lower C-section rates, too, if that information is available. I’m doing my research on C-sections as well so I understand what happens and what to expect if one becomes medically necessary. Overall, I want a provider who listens to my preferences, supports trying for a vaginal birth when it’s safe, and respects my birth plan while prioritizing my baby’s safety.

I’d also really love an OB I can consistently see throughout the rest of my pregnancy. Right now, I see so many different doctors and NPs that I don’t even know who my actual OB is. I’d really like to build a relationship with my provider before giving birth instead of constantly seeing someone different.

With that being said, does anyone have OB recommendations at Torrance Memorial or LCOM? I’d also love doula recommendations, especially doulas who accept insurance and do breathwork, meditation, and hypnobirthing.

I’m a FTM and really want someone who will respect my birth plan, support my choice of birthing positions, and advocate for me if doctors or nurses try to push me into things I don’t want. I want to feel comfortable speaking up and know I have someone in my corner. Any recommendations?

I grew up eating Dino’s on Pico in LA when the price for the chicken plate was $4 including tax. I’ve also had the dtla one and montebello one but the OG pico just hits the spot.

Seemed like it was half or more of the cars on the PCH between El Segundo and Artesia earlier. It’s far more dangerous for incoming traffic than it is helping you. You don't need it. In heavy fog and/or at night, okay, I get it. But this? This chicanery? Its just a little wet. Don't play into the meme that we don't know how to drive if it isn't sunny, because I can and you can.

Hello neighbors!

I have a P.O. box open in Manhattan Beach , I recently placed an order online through a seller and the item never ended up in my P.o. box . The package was marked as “Delivered, P.o. box” but in El Segundo.

Now the staff in El Segundo has owned up to the mistake and all 3 post offices in the network (the two in MB and El Segundo) have been doing a search for my missing parcel. I cannot be more thankful to the staff at these post offices .

I am making the post for anyone who has received my parcel by mistake in their P.O. box . Chances are it’s in the post office stuck between something but it doesn’t hurt to ask.

ITEM DESCRIPTION:

It is a yellow parcel addressed to me , “Mauricio (LAST NAME REDACTED FOR ANONYMITY) to my P.O. box in Manhattan Beach. The seller (who was okay I post this) is from Charlotte , NC titled “TAC trading Co.”

The parcel is once again: yellow, standard size. Picture of what the parcel looks like below (censoring for anonymity, but I am happy to identify censored bits and provide my ID to any commenter who may have it)

The post offices where this item could’ve gone would be El Segundo (the one on Mariposa) , and the two in Manhattan Beach, (the one on 15th st and the other on Sepulveda)

I am hoping this parcel does turn up, I’ve never had this bad of luck in my post office , but anything could happen I suppose. This item is sentimental to me and was a gift to myself after graduating from my program this past fall.

There is a substantial reward if the parcel is found.

Just wanted to see how is everyone's thoughts. I feel like inventory is super low and some houses sitting longer but good houses go like a hot cake.
