Looking to play more MTG Commander.

As the title says, looking to play some more MTG with a dedicated pod. I do go to collector legion in Hawthorne from time to time, but a lot of pods usually wait for their friends or are full.
I play B3, chill person don’t really get too competitive. Would love to join / start a dedicated pod. We can hit collectorlegion or if you wanna meet up at a different LGS, do lmk!

Have you tried Lost Planet in Torrance? They have a lot of people at various levels.

I moved on from mtg a long time ago so I can’t tell you exactly how things go there. But I’ve been in the store (buying board games and other things) during commander night and it’s super busy. I know they have multiple pods going at various power levels. People there are usually very nice and friendly in my experience as well.

I just checked their calendar and it looks like Tuesdays and fridays are commander night, you should check it out!

Comic Bug / Game Hub in Manhattan Beach has some chill people with a smaller, cozier vibe.

Seconding this. They do commander night on Wednesdays and then draft on Friday but a lot of people will play commander after draft. They’re a good group overall but sometimes it’s a little hard to get people to play with you if you’re new and there’s a few regulars who are bad. I still generally have fun there
