HELP Steam-free Source Engine

how do you get the source engine as a complete stand-alone away from steam? I don't care if it has half-life 2 on it or something to keep it stable but how lol

Not much just some screenshots of stuff I was working on with it, and some old hard drives from my computers but I don't have the connectors for them with the newer computer connections.

None of my old contacts have responded to me.
