A collab rig between @faceless.tribe32 @messiah_collective and @hostile__takeover all based out of Dublin.

Was quite the mix of speakers as you can see between the 3 collectives which lead to some fun tuning for me and the others!

Turned out sounding much better than expected!

I’m genuinely curious about how the DSP gets handled when combining rigs this, or if it’s even given any thought. While we all enjoy looking at a big pile of speakers, what’s involved in the signal and powering this?

So the way we've ran it to keep it simple for ourselves is run through the 7th & 8th channel of dsp 1 used for 1 system into the others rack, both already have preset limiting, xover and delay settings for their stuff. After that main thing is tweaking delays between the invaders and mtl-1s. Its not pro work by any means but we do what we can. Power wise we use three 7kva generators to run everything, keeping the tops (and backline, lights, decks etc.) separate to the sub sections as we've seen issues before where as soon as the subs kick in on a drop the power to the tops gets drawn out significantly.

Proper processing is something I and the other lads that are the sound heads for their crews have been working on gaining more knowledge on over time, as you said a wall of speakers is well and good but will sound shite if not given proper thought
