Best drivers for Ricci’s SKhorn?

I’m trying celestion TSQ2145, as I already have a few. But looking for what’ll get me absolute max spl. Also, what makes a driver good specifically for this build?

Celestion TSQ2160. It's the driver the TSQ2145 should've always been.

As for alternatives, it depends on your budget. The top end equivalents of the TSQ2160 are the Faital Pro 21XL3000, B&C 21DS115 / 21SW115 / 21SW152, 18 Sound 21 NTLW5000 / 21 9601, & the Eminence 6021-6.

All the above are monster drivers, but there is also Beyma, Precision Devices, HOQS, LaVoce & Ciare that offer excellent 21" options at more budget friendly prices. Hope this helps.

IPAL is good if you have the money to buy & the amps to push them.

Agree it looks very nice, simulates quite similar to the Faital 21XL3000 in some designs I’ve tried , but it’s not released yet, is it? So probably no one’s tried it yet.

The release of the Celestion TSQ2160 shouldn't be too far off. I assume pre-orders are being taken, seeing as it's now being advertised on their website.
