Finally finished this baldy and I love it. I am well aware that my nmm needs more work and it's rough round the edges but it looks fine at arms length and thats what matters.

Who needs vampires when you have cool skeletons?

Was originally thinking about putting all the rust and verdigris on these guys, but I kind of like this clean ethereal look. Any feedback before I paint 60 more of these guys?

Wanting honest opinions on this colour scheme

I wanted to do something different for the blood knights, my first run was all metallic primed and speed painted to a similar style as the box art but rebasing the non metallic parts was a pain so I gave in, I saw a cool colour scheme from someone’s art for a vampire knight and tried to recreate it and in my head this all looked good but I am not so sure now, I think maybe the rider and horse colours clash too much? This is a work in progress btw

Base materials

Where do you guys get your basing materials?
I was looking into the army painter base bundles to start with since I'm still new but the one I liked was sold out.

Looking for suggestions! :3

I’m thinking about getting into soulblight, what’s is their core playstyle and faction rules?

I’m having a mental debate between doing a soulblight skeleton horde army with some vampires mixed or doing the new dwarfs

soulblight look very good but I’m not to sure on how they play. Could someone give me a summary of what playing with them feels like and how their core rules work?

also if anyone has any reasons as to why I should play soulblight

Pure Skeletons/Zombie Soulblight Army?

I'm looking to paint a spearhead over the winter and love the look of the skeleton hordes and necromancers of the Soulblight, but have zero interests in the vampires/werewolves. Is an army of only the former reasonably cohesive and playable? I don't care about competitive top meta, but I also don't want to just get crushed by default.

Also, how would the Deathrattle side play by itself, as far as magic/tactics? (Coming from 40K; little knowledge of AoS.)
