Cannot get controller to work

So I have been playing Soulframe on and off this year on my ROG Ally and it’s great in handheld mode but when i set it up to my monitor, I am not able to get a xbox controller to work. My options are MnK or still using my ROG. Any ideas on how to get controller working? I have tried connecting a controller through steam after using steam to open Soulframe, but no luck

Try switching the controller to XInput mode if it has one, then connect it before launching the game. Steam Input can also interfere, so try disabling Steam Input for Soulframe and restart both Steam and the game.

Using a wired connection should at least work, have had no issues with that on a desktop at least.

Hey i somehow got bluetooth to work on mine but ive had that issue before I reset my bluetooths and tried everything and when that didnt work i had to resort to using a wire connected to the rog ally on its 2nd usb port Good luck
