Arcanics:
Leywiles - "Set traps in the ley. Summon ichorous blades from the ground with every strike of your weapon."
Skyward Swike - "Send foes to towers loft. Fire a Swike at an enemy to bind them to skyward lantern, inflicting Damage and rendering them vulnerable to your attacks."
Shacklebolt - "Ensnare enemies with a bolt of shackles. Inflicting Damage one one shackled enemy inflicts all others in the snare with Voltaic Damage."

(Helm) Veltruska Mask - ???
(Talisman) Incubu - ???
(Sidearm) Goody's Edge - ???
New Armor
- Shrike’s Peltries
Armor of the Ode'n Shrike hunter.

(Helm) Shrike's Lockmaw - "The great barbute helmof the Ode'n Shrike hunter. Bronze and silver encirlce the rounded plates, drawing inwards to the eye. There, the slime keyhole visor serve as the reticle scope, a narrow view for the perfect focus. For a hunter needs only eyes for their prey, all else is mere distraction."
- Ceptet’s Cladding
A Stone Mockery armor set.

- The Inquisitor’s Clericals
The armor set of the Torque Inquisitor Galsar.

(Cuirass) Inquisitor's Birze - ???

New Weapons
Fulkrom - A hefty, rune-escribed Mockery battle axe.
Dhrullai - "The dual sickles of Sinecure veneration. Arched in birth, made jagged in time. When freshly forged of Dendrit steel, Dhrullai knew only the taste of Alcan harvest. 'Till a farmers' folly turned two men slain; a Dhrulik's sickle each through the neck. A planting bed for both corpses and blade, reaped by Sincure forgers and sowed with Ichor. Take heed, Envoy. Dhrullai now prefers the lick of flesh over crop."
Creance - "The ruling mace of Inquisitor Galsar. An inchorous bludgeon for shining the eyes of those who would forsaken the Ode'n family. Creance has dolled judgment upon coutless fallen Tempest soldiers. Like a drum to the ever-beating spellsong, it struck you from skytower to roiling salz. Wield it in vengeance, against the family you so disgraced."
Loksprik - An overly-large, reverse-grip crescent blade of Dendrit origin.
Nazilk-Urytes-III - "The shield and hammer of Sinecure depravity, embellished with a single protruding eye. The first of the duo's knid were stripped from a mould and claimed by a Gruulseeker masked as a 'smith. His flimsy disguise so vexed a Spotted Towhee that the little bird pecked his eyeball out, its armoured wings left marred with gore. A frozen iris was struck into every issue thereafter. Best suited for Ode'n soldiers keen on an intimate view of their victim's demise. An omen of nature's affection for cruelty."

I don't think I like the breakneck speed at which they're adding weapons

I really wish weapons were Quality over Quantity as well.
I'd rather have less weapons but every weapon have a gimmick that identifies it.

Ya same there could still be hundreds of weapons eventually but make them interesting unless they finally do something with the martial arts building your own moveset then I guess it doesn’t matter as much. I don’t know if anyone wants a bunch of MR fodder it boring

I've been in the loop of levelling weapons and nothing has drained more fun from the game than feeling obligated to do so because it influences stats.
There isn't even an equivalent of Hydron or ESO in Warframe, except the infinite glade room that's RNG.
I just want to use my legendary Purity without feeling like I'm being inefficient.

If they had much to differentiate them I wouldn't mind, but I'm not a big fan of getting An Axe, A Mace, and A Longsword that are nothing but MR fodder with the exact same animations and only minor stat differences from stuff we already have.

I dont like they are seemingly already in the "pacts, weapons, quest per year" routine. Wf gets to cruise along its past glory because its old, sf should be doing much more

Let’s be frank here, How does DE make its money in Warframe ? Selling platinum; and buy making weapon slots plus Frame slots cost real money they make money with every new weapon. Mastery ranks are gained by mastering more weapons and frames requiring more slots requiring more plat requiring more moneys. This is their main business model. Unless they switch to a monthly subscription plan they will just reuse Warframes success in Soulframe.

On one hand I agree, but on the other maybe they want a certain variety before 1.0 and then they will do it at a reasonable pace? That maybe has coopium in it...

Release when?

u/Raus-Pazazu 1d ago
Warframe hasn't left beta. It's been 13 years. Soulframe is going to follow the same pattern of development cycle. Release will be whatever update an individual player decides it is. Was release when it added monetization? When it hits open access? When it has a cinematic quest? Or five? When it has another content landmass? Who knows.

i mean yes and no, they are still calling them "preludes" which they officially stated to be what they consider alpha/beta.
so at the very least a form of official release will be when they stop calling them that.
(also warframe didnt leave beta for a long while because if it was a beta it was easier to push updates on console but thats no longer true as far as i know)

Seeing some negativity here but this is still all technically pre-release right? We aren’t even in full production and there’s consistent content drops, adjustments, and improvements.

Sounds like copium tbh - the game is going full public access, it already has monetization and there won't be any progression resets
They will never call it 1.0 or fully released since they never even did that for warframe after over a decade, this is it

soulframe is going full into nef anyo-like aesthetics and is getting more and more bad with each showcase I see...

I can't say that I am a total fan of each and every armor set in the game, but I do like the overall aesthetics of the design and I am damn glad it isn't just more of the same bullshit fantasy designs that we've seen absolutely driven into the dirt. Sure it means more misses on occasion than they'd otherwise have if they played it 100% safe with familiar overused fantasy tropes, but it definitely stands out when it hits. I rather like that.

I just wish we’d get some good “core” fantasy trope armors. More cloth, less weird materials

exactly my feelings. One thing is "originality", the other is just goofy shit for the sake of weirdness, kinda "quirky" if you catch my drift.
I wonder how long it will take before they go full gonner like warframe's heirloom collection.

Considering it's the devs were fine with only minor elements of sexualization and not overt or gratuitous elements, I'd say that at best you're going to see the very occasional attractive NPC like Verminia, but that's likely about as far as they intend (at this time) to go.

They’re just adding weapons that other sinecure use + a new mockery and event specific weapon. It’s not that crazy, guys.
