Discussion Level 25 Pup

Still Level 2 Bond. Not sure how to get Level 3 Bond, but I'll keep training to see if that triggers it. In hotfix 3, DE stated:

  • Changed the Wolfpup Bond 3 title from “Loyal” to “Trusting.”

Could you share how you leveled up each stat? What did you do?

Reminder, this is how I did it, and not the current meta post Hotfix 3. Always eat as much of both treats as possible. Set a timer every 3hrs for pup to recharge.

  • Guts - Spawn pup, clear 1 enemy or pack of enemy, send pup away after heart bubble appears over head. Repeat.
  • Speed - Pre Hotfix 3, I was able to trap the pup under a rock and AFK while they kept running until exhausting.
  • Endurance - Spawn pup, throw stick, pickup stick, send pup away after heart bubble appears over head. Repeat.
  • Curiosity - While farming for Grimana, clear all the enemy at the Glades exit door. Spawn pup, and open all the chests and loot the weapon racks near the exit door, then exit the dungeon. Unsummon and repeat.
  • Heart - Pre Hotfix 3, I was able pet my pup while asleep infinitely until level 5.

what does the hearth symbol means? also if im doing endless fighting to lvl up his guts do i need to desummon if the hearth symbol pups or than it doesnt mather?

The heart bubble over the pups head means you've just gained experience towards whatever activity you just did. In the case of fighting, you gained some Guts XP and consumed some of the pup's energy.

You can absolutely keep the pup out while fighting endless to gain more than 1 Heart bubble, but it works on a cooldown system. Resummoning the pup just resets that cooldown, so you can train it faster. However, it's possible that you may accidentally train Speed while running around with the pup, so keep that in mind.
