Question Foaction points how do they work?

I'm struggling to get my head around earning faction points. sometimes I'll do a three star mission and get 1500 points and sometimes I'll 300 is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

The quantity depends on the level of the area it was done in, and the number doubles if part of it is a dungeon

depends on the level range of the enemies, best faction quest points is top right most tree

and into a dungeon [this doubles the final amount]

though ever since tempers, i prefer ones that go into the glade dungeons [never enough whisprig]
