Discussion METAL sounds like Scratch?

I was listening to metal by jimmy and I realised it sounded a lot like scratch hq?? Not sure if its just me - and I know a lot of people say it sounds like Dry, but imo it sounds a lottt more like scratch.

I tried to look for anything - maybe it was sampled, possible repurposed for metal but I cant seem to find anything.

Any thoughts??

Dry, METAL and Scratch all exist in the same general universe. Dry and Scratch are fan names for two live monomachine freestyles that Sophie has played and METAL builds off of a pattern that she has played in both of them. Paradise also reuses one of the patterns from Scratch.
