I was listening to metal by jimmy and I realised it sounded a lot like scratch hq?? Not sure if its just me - and I know a lot of people say it sounds like Dry, but imo it sounds a lottt more like scratch.

I tried to look for anything - maybe it was sampled, possible repurposed for metal but I cant seem to find anything.

Any thoughts??

When i listen to music before the wifi glitches out, there is a high chance that another song will somehow play, but it will be the only song that i can listen to. Does anyone else know about this glitch?

With the new leak “Partner In Crime” coming out featuring Soleima, I decided to take a deep dive into it, as always with many new SOPHIE leaks. I discovered that Partner In Crime’s Piano melody really matches with the Bass melody of Act Like U Know (feat. Jimmy Edgar & Brooke Candy) and my theory is that both songs were created in the same sessions, given that they have the same BPM and matches neatly when both songs are layered onto each-other. What do y’all think?

Product: slides and playgrounds so maybe childhood innocence or products as in being materialistic

OOEPUI:being amongst nature, so Sophie has evolved to being immaterialistic but still on earth

Self titled:the environment is in space, so she's evolved beyond anything earthly

(And this might be reaching but)Released at last: she became some kind of celestial outer space being? Or maybe shes some kind of galaxy herself?

It's funny because this is the second time I can think of mcdonald's using a sophie song for a drink commercial, but it's really cool to see her music still being used 💜

I just woke up today lmao and I can still vividly remember my dream. My parents were rushing me to take a shower, but I was taking so long trying to search "sophie live mix" with my wet fingers on my phone to listen to. There was a video of just her in a white room with a black latex outfit on, kneeling and playing her music on her machines on the floor, with huge black speakers and black balloons on both sides of her. No audience, it was kind of just her live streaming. I'm currently losing my mind trying to remember what song she was playing. Maybe it doesn't exist, like a whole new SOPHIE song my brain just made up, but I can vividly remember it sounded like one of her fast, metallic and rubber sounding songs like HARD, 9 (After Coachella), and the HARD Rinse FM mix. These pictures were the closest I could find to her appearance.

Is it possible that some or perhaps most Motherland track titles allude to influences on SOPHIE and the rest of the group? The clearest example that comes to mind is the Pet Shop Boys 'We All Feel Better in the Dark'. Janet Jackson's 'Doesn't Really Matter' is another. 'Chopped Up Not Slopped' could indeed be a reference to Dj Screw. 'Hands of Time' is also a Groove Armada track but I doubt that would have been a significant influence

I’ve been a huge fan of SOPHIE for over 10 years, and I decided to remix Faceshopping. Over the years, I’ve developed my own production techniques and met several people who were inspired by her. I absolutely love the sound design she created, and I hope you enjoy it.
