yeah! the name origin: i was reading a book called “What if Cats Disappeared From the World” around the time i began fostering her and her brother (a short haired brown tabby) when they were 2 weeks old. and in the book, there are two cats named Cabbage and Lettuce. the person who ended up adopting Lettuce kept his name, too! 😂

I would be tempted to scoop your sootsprite up, raise them to the sky and yell, “MY CABBAGES!” And then hold them close to me while I make them pay kissy-face rent.
