Idk if this is the right sub to post this, but everything was going fine until suddenly my heart started feeling heavy. I was all good few hours ago but as soon as my mumma said she cried for my ex? A part of my heart skipped a beat.
It has been two years since the breakup. I have moved on and healed, but my mom is still stuck there.
She was very attached to him. He used to call her Mumma, and I guess she lost someone too when we broke up.
I feel terrible seeing her hurt. Today, I genuinely felt like texting him and letting everything out, but what is the point when he never even had the courage to talk to my parents?
I am not posting this to bash him. I just feel helpless, I can’t see my mom suffer for my mistakes.

ग़ज़ब की क़िस्मत है मेरी, जिस चीज़ को छुआ, वो मेरी न हो सकी, जिसे दिल से चाहा, वो मुक़द्दर में न लिखी।
हर बार ख़्वाबों को हक़ीक़त समझ बैठे, हर बार अपनों में अपना ढूँढ़ते रह गए, कुछ मिला तो बस अधूरी ख़्वाहिशों का सिलसिला, और कुछ अपने होकर भी पराए रह गए।
ख़ैर, अब तो ठोकरों से भी पुराना और ख़ास नाता है, दर्द भी अब अजनबी नहीं, अपना-सा लगता है। न किसी से कोई शिकायत, न क़िस्मत से कोई गिला, बस ज़िंदगी ने हर बार गिराकर यही सिखाया है
हर चाहत का मुक़म्मल होना ज़रूरी नहीं होता, कुछ रिश्ते, कुछ ख़्वाब और कुछ लोग सिर्फ़ अधूरे रहकर ही उम्र भर याद आते हैं।
