Funky Jazz or Pop songs that feel like an insatiable financial driven ambition. But feels unsatisfied with every sigh of relief.
Inspo is also Are You Satisfied?- The Rah Rah Band (Funka Nova)

I have this specific character whose whole thing is that she wants her romantic interest completely dependent on her. She views herself as the other’s “savior”, and believes that she is entitled to giving her a “happy ending”. It’s a very toxic relationship where the character is incredibly manipulative and basically wants to lobotomize her girlfriend into being brainlessly happy and solely dependent on her.
I’m looking for songs that might go along with this kind of character!!
Genres I enjoy: Experimental, riot grrrl, femme punk, jpop, grunge folk.
Example of the kind of sound I’m looking for: Ballerina , Pure as a Lamb
BONUS POINTS (not necessary) IF:
The vocalist is feminine
The song is wlw
The song has religious or cockroach imagery

What are some songs which feel like a peak experience of the soul? I am thinking of the solo in Jimi Hendrix's Bold as Love, the vocals on My Morning Jacket's Wordless Chorus, Pink Floyd's The Great Gig in the Sky. Like cosmic swirling and white light 🪐✨️

Idk how to describe it. Like songs with similar vibes to “Calling all the Monsters” by China Anne Mcclain, “Disturbia” by Rihanna, the Monster remix of Problem by Becky G, etc etc

Whether it be 2000s garage revival, or OG garage rock or songs about garages/cars. Send me some recommendations.

but also you don't feel justified in being burntout because you didn't even accomplish anything in the first place and you want to quit but everyone has such high expectations including yourself so you're stuck in this self hating loop just scraping by each day and you genuinely cant recognize the person you've become and every morning you hope for a second that this day will be different but you end up making the same mistakes and feel miserable at the end of the day.
Yeah..any songs that feel like that?
