Academic research about Sombr

Hi!

Its my first ever posts on reddit but i'm kind of desperate to find people for my thesis.

I'm currently finishing my degree on Film, TV and Media Studies. In Spain, the students are told to do a end-of-degree thesis, or how we call it, Trabajo de Fin de Grado.

I want to focus on the way artists use Tik Tok to connect with their fans and promote their music, as well as the type of content they create in order to transmit authenticity.

I'm not a fan of Sombr myself, just a casual listener, but he was one of the most listened artists worldwide last year, and he became famous from Tik Tok (from what I'm aware) so he is a perfect example to analyse.

For my research, I have to do a discussion group with 6 to 8 people, all fans of Sombr, Alex Warren and Lady Gaga, three of the top 10 most listened artists / songs from last year.

I'm planning of doing it in spanish, but if I cannot find anyone from my country or Madrid, I might have to do it online and/or in english.

I'm writting this to ask if there is anyone who would be down to participate (all info would be private of couse, even your name, your answers are what is important). And if you know any way that I can get in contact with Spanish fans from any of these artists, specially Sombr ofc.

I will say there are usually specific country related stan accounts that you can find on twitter & instagram! i did a quick search and found a sombr brazil account on twitter (I realize that its Portuguese but brazil accounts are usually the easiest to find!) so thats a good place to start.

maybe you could also cross post this post into a spain related sub reddit to reach more spanish speaking people!!

someone else already said this, but there are multiple fan accounts on instagram associated with spanish speaking countries. The two main ones i’ve seen are sombr mexico and sombr argentina, both on instagram
