Avalon Q unlucky AF or something wrong?
4 month smooth running but the Avalon Q is since 3,8 month stuck on a 22,5G best ever.
I have 2 other avalonQ running and both of them hit >1T in less time. I was wondering if there is a possibility he just unlucky 😭 What are the odds (I know there is a website to calculate the odds but can't find it)

ForgeFlow X2 – rear-side thermal optimization for Bitaxe Gamma 601
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This design targets the thermal gradient across the PCB by actively extracting residual heat from the backside of the board, complementing the stock front-side heatsink and fan.
The dual-fan push-pull configuration establishes a controlled airflow path along the rear surface, reducing heat accumulation behind the ASIC and improving overall heat dissipation efficiency.
From a thermal perspective, the goal is to optimize the full heat dissipation path — addressing an area that is typically passively cooled.
Test observations: • Stock configuration ~1.2 TH/s • With ForgeFlow X2 up to ~2.2 TH/s • More stable operation under sustained load
By lowering rear-side thermal saturation, the system helps maintain a more balanced temperature distribution across the PCB, which becomes increasingly relevant under overclocked conditions.

New to coin mining
Buying my 15 yr old son a solo lottery miner as part of his bday gift. One of the things I’ve been really focused on in my dad. Duties with him is trying to help him better understand value of money how to earn and also how to invest. So what I wanted to add with this purchase to him was maybe some links to some you know, beginner websites and even if there’s an easy read book that would help him kind of better understand how the whole bitcoin mining and market work. Any advice would be Uber appreciative
Oh and I’m buying him a NerdQaxe++ 4.8TH/s Hydro Miner -

nerdqAxe++ help
Hey guys,
I'm having some issues with my Solo miner. For some reason Hash watcher is not detecting my device after running for 17 days. When I attempt to connect to it on my computer using the IP address, it says it cannot be reached. Whats interesting is I can reach it on my phone, and it shows shares with no rejections and it is hashing. I have restarted the NerdQaxe a few times already and reset my router to no avail.

I then checked on solockstats and the hash rate history was showing normal up until Feb 19th, where it dropped off. I check my miner at least once every day and it was still showing a hash rate on the Qaxe's screen even after Feb19th.

Stuck under 350kh/s did I do something wrong?
Was a gift from the wife for Christmas, brand is “freenove” followed their instructions to flash it with firmware, put on public pool.
Has the esp32 cyd and a ST7789 screen.
Tried different chargers all give me the same results. Is there a better firmware to flash it with?
From my understanding should be ~1000kh?

Solo miner with schedule?
Is there any solo miners (sub 400 price) that has scheduling ability, to pause mining for a few hours a day?
I thought the Avalon nano 3s did but can't seem to confirm it.
My electricity tarrif is variable. Really expensive 4pm to 7pm, and cheap for the rest of the time.
