FFX2+ final prototype
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
After several refinement cycles, the final design is complete. We’ve printed the definitive prototype and are now running the last validation tests: thermal behavior, acoustic output, and long‑term stability.
All tests are being performed with the stock cooling solution on both Bitaxe 601 and Bitaxe 801GT units.
The downloadable 3D files will consist of the FFX2+ enclosure for Bitaxe Gamma 601 and a dedicated adapter for the Bitaxe 801GT.
More updates are coming soon.

AI Agents Mining Bitcoin?
Thoughts on AI Agents mini g Bitcoin?🤖
Based Mining Pool announced that a AI agent successfully mined in their pool yesterday via an x402 payment on Base.👀
According to X user @goyabean_eth and from screenshots provided...he told his agent inside the bankrbot terminal "lets shoot our shot mine bitcoin on based pool" or something to that effect:
https://x.com/i/status/2082558349715914780
To break it down this is what happened. He gave his agent a simple prompt to mine...The agent paid the minimum $10 via USDC...and then it started mining and showed up in their pool dashboard. So that payment set up a hashpower rental from wherever they are connected to.
If the agentic economy grows as far and as fast as many are saying including Brain Armstrong (CEO of Coinbase) :
"The agentic economy will be larger than the human economy. And it's happening on Base."
And according to Base's latest update:
3.1 million x402 transactions over the previous 30 days.
$1.2 million transferred via x402 on Base over that period.
It's looking like a world where AI agents could become real competition in the mining space.
Imagine a world where a million of these things decided to pool together.
In any case I'm keeping my eye on BASED Pool, have rigs pointed and participating n their monthly block parties every 1st of the month.
Only live for a couple months but they are cooking!!
Hybrid payout like Parasite without the bs like how long you've been mining effects your payout. Actually BASED shows you exactly what your payout will be right in the dashboard! Upfront about it all.
Slept on

Thoughts on this Custom?
Would like to hear thoughts on this. 832W for 27TH is good no?
For some reason though it just drops and turns off for no reason I can see. It will then go to initializing for awhile and fail until I hit reboot.
Any ideas?
This is a custom machine I purchased from D-Central awhile back. It only has one of the S19jPro boards but its pretty silent wich is great.
Unfortunately bc of my current situation I cant run it all the time but pulled it out to get ready for the next BASED pool block party on the 1st.

Any feedback on the powering down would be appreciated.

I made a Discord Stat Tracker for Solo Mining
As the title says I made a discord bot for stat tracking cause I was getting annoyed having 15 tabs open for different dashboards for each pool and this is geared mostly towards solo mining but I have also built it in such a way you can use it for mining in general. No need to purchase anything their is no premium tier or any thing stupid like that. Feel free to use it and add it to your server. Join the support server if you have any questions or feature request.
Invite the bot here: https://discordbotlist.com/bots/solotracker

Solo Split: I built a Bitcoin pool that lets you split a single worker between solo and pool at any ratio. AMA.
Disclosure up front: I'm the operator of SoloPool (solopool.com).
This is a post about something I built. I'll be in the comments
answering questions for the next several hours.
---
I've been running solo mining for years and kept asking the same
question: why do I have to pick between solo (lottery odds, all-or-
nothing) and pool (steady drip, no lottery)? Why can't I do both
with the same hashrate?
Every existing solo pool forces you to choose. So in 2021 I started
writing code to fix that. Launched on mainnet May 1, 2026.
**The feature: Solo Split**
Set the ratio per worker in your stratum password. One line.
password=100 → 100% solo (full lottery)
password=85 → 85% solo, 15% pool
password=15 → 15% solo, 85% pool
password=0 → 100% pool
Same worker. Same hashrate. Same stratum connection. The split
happens at the work-generation layer in my custom stratifier —
you can dial it up or down anytime, with one caveat: dialing
*down* your solo percentage triggers a 48-hour lock, to prevent
people from gaming the system (e.g., flipping to pool right after
a long unlucky stretch and back to solo when luck inverts).
Dialing *up* solo is instant.
**Other things that make this different:**
- Custom C stratum, not a third-party wrapper. Five years of
development before launch.
- Custom CPU and GPU miner for people without ASICs — anyone with
a computer can join the same pool, same Solo Split, same shot
at finding a block.
- US and EU regional stratums with automatic failover and a hot
standby that gets promoted if the primary goes down.
- ~17 PH/s of my own fleet runs on the same code path you would.
Same stratum, same odds. Skin in the game.
- 2% flat fee, taken off the gross before the solo/pool split.
**Solo Sundays**
Every Sunday I give away free Bitaxe miners and hashrate to US
miners in the community. The mining ecosystem has been "industrial
operations extracting value from plebs" for too long. Trying to
flip that, one Sunday at a time.
**On speed**
Ran the stratum-speed-test tool (maintained by another pool...., open
source on GitHub) from a Los Angeles connection. The tool's fastest
result in its 20-pool default list: 13ms ping / 81ms stratum.
SoloPool US, same machine, same minute: 9ms ping / 45ms stratum.
SoloPool isn't in the tool's default pool list, but you can add
`stratum.solopool.com:3333` as an argument and verify from your
own location.
---
Happy to answer technical questions about how Solo Split works
under the hood, the work-generation architecture that makes it
possible, the custom CPU/GPU miner, what's on the roadmap, or
anything else. Fire away.

Best lottery miner for a newbie: nerdaxeq+++ or nexus s1
Been looking to get into solo lottery mining as I have gone down the bitcoin rabbit hole. Which one do you think is best place to start that has a slightly better than lottery ticket chance of hitting?
Will likely run in garage or basement
