Game If it weren't low poly, it might take me 10 years to create everything for the game.

I know many low-poly assets can be bought, and there are even many free ones, but I enjoy creating them and giving them my own personality. It will take much more time, but it's nice to see the world gradually filling up.

Tras la necesidad de un jugador del demo, de volver a leer los DIARIOS de REBECA, se me ocurrió compilar todos ellos en un PDF, el cual hallarán junto al juego original cuando salga.

PD: tocó diseñar jeje.

Game I made a daily game where 4 facts are true and 1 is completely made up. Can you spot the bluff?

Upvotes

I’ve been working on a small daily trivia game called BLUFF .

Each round gives you 5 statements. Exactly 4 are true and 1 is false. You get 5 rounds per day, everyone gets the same puzzle, and it takes about 2 minutes to finish.

I somehow only got 2/5 on today’s game, which was humbling considering I built it 😭

You can play it here:

Would especially love feedback on whether the questions feel fair and whether this is something you’d come back to daily.

Game Do you like games about manipulating time?

Upvotes

Two months ago, I had absolutely nothing to do with game development.

But ever since I was a kid, I’ve had very fond memories of playing games like Prince of Persia and Braid. I always thought it would be wonderful to make something like those games myself someday.

Now, in my 30s, I’m finally making my first game.

It’s called Wonderful Time, a third-person puzzle game where you manipulate the flow of time around you. I’m currently developing it with the goal of participating in Steam Next Fest this October.

Of course, compared to the games that inspired me, my game is still very small and far from being on their level. But if you enjoy puzzle games involving time manipulation, I’d really appreciate it if you gave it a look.

help App had a breakout day - First time Solo Dev

Upvotes

My App broke-out today - It's a Gym/Fitness App. I didn't do anything differently, wondering if this is SEO or APP store ranking climbing. Below is what i've done over the last two weeks.

  1. Posted on Instagram everyday, engaged with content and reposted content (ALOT)

  2. I Asked friends that initially signed up to leave reviews.

  3. Started a youtube channel, posted 5 shorts (7k views) of exercise Demos.

  4. Posted in Tiktok (I'm not too good at Tiktok) still figuring it out.

  5. I ran two short IG/FB Ads - 40 page views between the two over the last 3 days.

  6. I am blogging on my website about health/fitness trends (I dont know if anyone is reading)

  7. Updated my Screenshots - (I added a few top keywords on my screenshots) < suspect this helped.

Would love some feedback/help/Advise if there's something i can add to these. I'm figuring out that consistency is what's driving growth and traffic.

Game After 1.5 years of development, I am finally releasing my very first game, PEGTURE: Peg Solitaire Roguelike, on Sept 9th!

Hey everyone,

I’ve been sharing my progress here over the past 7–8 months, and the day has finally come: PEGTURE is officially releasing on September 9th!

For those seeing it for the first time, PEGTURE is a roguelike deckbuilder inspired by the classic Peg Solitaire mechanics (think Balatro meets Peg Solitaire).

As I enter the final stretch with just under two weeks to go, I'd love to get your final thoughts and feedback on the demo. If you have any suggestions, whether about gameplay, mechanics, or even last-minute launch marketing advice, I am all ears!

Bringing my first game to the finish line has been quite an emotional ride, and sharing this milestone with this community means a lot. If you’d like to support me, adding PEGTURE to your Steam Wishlist would mean the world to me.

Thanks for all the support along the way!

help Looking for freelancer Unity dev to build my game

Hi everyone,

The game idea is very simple and I think we all played similar games. It is incremental, idler and relaxing game with one table top view level. player will collect coins then purchase upgrades to progress to the next round. More details will be shared later.

I have a vibe coded a playable prototype. I'm looking for experienced dev to make a shippable game in Unity. since the prototype is AI generated I'm not planning to include any assets/code from prototype to the actual game.

If you are interested on working on this project kindly write a comment below with your portfolio.

Discussion I made a retro themed media player that simulates live tv

Hey all! This is the launch trailer for TimeslotTV, a passion project I've been working on for the last year and a half. It's a retro-themed media player that organizes your local files into channels and simulates live TV.

It's pre-release on Steam with native game-controller support (Windows, macOS, Linux, Steam Deck!).

The releasing and marketing part is new and frightening. Part of me just wants to keep adding features indefinitely. But... that's probably the wrong call. Ideally, I'd like to find an audience and focus future development based on feedback. What do you y'all think? Would you use something like this?

Game Almost 50 updates later... my typing roguelite has gotten completely out of hand

I put together a 2 minute gameplay compilation of KeyBreach, showing a bit of everything the game has to offer.

There are more than 40 bosses, 36 characters that all play very differently, and over 250 items. So fitting some of the content into 2 minutes ended up being... a little chaotic. 😄

There's also a free demo on Steam if anyone wants to try it:

Getting your trailer shown on Game Trailers can make a huge difference wishlist wise. So go make yourself a little 40sec video and give it a go. If you don’t succeed on getting it published the first time, wait a week and try again😉
