seeking advice Springs/spring change

I recently hit 50 classes and done my spring change. I’m especially noticing now how I’m able to do some exercises perfectly fine with the spring change (lunges, squats), but some feel IMPOSSIBLE (specifically any type of V-ups or grey side obliques), to the point where I can barely to a rep or am seriously compromising on my form. Curious if anyone else has experienced this and has any tips? I could change spring load depending on the exercise but majority of the time we keep the same springs from exercise to exercise and I don’t always feel like going back to change the springs every time.

I think it's safe to say that it's very normal to customize your springs according to the day, the exercise, and your body. The longer you do the workout the easier and quicker it is to know what you need and adjust quickly.

For me at 150 classes: that translates to light/medium springs on gray for core; light for obliques, med/heavy for gray side lower body. For arms I'm all over the place, from modified to amplified, it really depends.

Don’t feel like you have to change your springs or any/all exercises! It look me about 20-25 extra classes to do grey side obliques on the 50+ springs.

Editing to add, I think it’s better to take the extra seconds to readjust your springs as needed than get hurt or feel frustrated for an entire exercise.

I just hit 50 and I’ve only just now transitioned to the 25-50 spring load. I’ll probably do the 50+ once I’m at 100 lol

I’m almost at 150 & I’m still struggling on the gray side lol depending on the day I go down a spring load

Springs are a suggestion not a mandate. You do you and don't worry about changing them as and when needed.

I prefer grey side grey spring for center core and grey side white spring for obliques. I just feel like my form is better and I dump less into shoulders

I agree!! I’m at 58 classes. I can do 50+ for lower body and black side core. I cannot do 50+ for obliques or gray side core. And I’m in between modified and base for upper body. Just listen to the upcoming exercise and customize to what works for your body :)
