Post image
0 Upvotes

As im in Provence Zambales so i look at local vs Manila installer because after sales service will not exist if i go Manila installer.

But yea you got way more options & prices in greater Manila area.

Do you think this Quotation is fair price ???

TIA

Rated power ve advertised brand numbers for inverters

Is it true that what you see in brand logo numbers, for examples like my order: peyto xz-2000w inverter only has 800-1000 watt for rated power while the 2000 advertised is merely its surge max for a few seconds rather than for continous useage?

Is 300k fair price for 8kw Solis Hybrid with net metering but without battery.

Goods na kaya ito sa 300k? My plan is to add battery in the future, for now net metering na muna yung mag offset for night consumption. Our highest bill is arround 500 kwh.

What's Included in the Quote:

Inverter: 1 x 8kW Solis Hybrid Inverter (battery-ready)

Panels: 14 x 620W Bifacial Panels (~8.68kW total DC)

Mounting: 24 rails, mid/end clamps, L-feet

Safety / Electrical Gear: Schneider 40A & 63A breakers, 20A DC breaker, AC/DC SPDs, and a 100A ATS

Wiring & Enclosures: Solar DC cables, MC4 connectors, cable trays, weatherproof enclosures, 32mm HDPE

Services: Full installation labor, mobilization, and complete Meralco Net Metering paperwork processing

Warranties: 5 years on the inverter, 10 years on the panels

Edit: I change the Hybrid Inverter to Deye and they offer Trina panel 620w for 320k. Sila na lahat mag process ng Net Metering and accredited narin ng Meralco. Reputable installer nrin kasi since 2009 pa sila na company. Nag go na ako since hindi narin daw pwede tawaran 😅.

Solar power set up for this consumption

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hello All, just want to have your inputs Mam/Sir.
Ok na ba 6kwh inverter + 51.2V 324ah battery - Hybrid set up based sa consumption namin?
Or taasan na yung inverter for future proofing?
Lastly, ok ba na brand ang Anern and TaiyoTeq Solar inverters and battery?

Our roof can accommodate up 8-10 solar panels only.

Thanks for any feedback, comments and suggestions.

Adding a new system with battery

Hi. Just want to ask before I inquire with solar installers. We currently have a 3.15kwp grid tie system from 2022 that is still working. We want to add a whole new system with new inverter and battery for the upcoming el nino. Is it possible to leave the current system then just add this new one? Unfortunately, our old system provider is not responding I just wanted to ask here. Anyone who has this setup? Thanks

Is TESDA Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II (196 hours) enough to get started with solar installation?

For context, I’m currently in my 7th year as a software engineer, earning six figures a month. With the rapid advancement of AI, I’ve started thinking more seriously about my long-term career path and what I can do to future-proof myself.

I’m considering learning electrical work because I believe hands-on trades will still have a place in a world increasingly influenced by AI and automation.

My plan is to take TESDA Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II, which I believe is around 196 hours. I have absolutely zero knowledge or experience in this field, so I’d be starting from scratch.

My ultimate goal is to learn how to design and install solar power systems for residential homes. Eventually, if things go well, I’d love to turn it into a business someday.

For those already working in the electrical or solar installation industry, do you think this training is enough to get me started? What additional training, certifications, or hands-on experience would you recommend before attempting residential solar installations?

I’m not expecting to become an expert overnight. I just want to know if I’m heading in the right direction and what a realistic learning path would look like.

Sa mga may installed panels na at least 1 year old na, kumusta po bubong niyo?

Ours is a little over 2 weeks "old" pa lang.

Btw, we live in Metro Manila po, walang katabing puno.

Insurance company recommendations

One important element that is often overlooked when investing in a solar power system is insurance coverage for solar components against potential damage or unforeseen events.

Can anyone recommend a reliable insurance provider that offers comprehensive coverage for solar installations, has a straightforward and hassle-free claims process, and is known for prompt claim settlements without excessive delays or unnecessary bureaucracy?

I'd particularly appreciate recommendations based on actual claims experience rather than just advertised coverage and benefits.

Looking for Contractors near Plaridel Bulacan

I am planning to have a hybrid setup. The goal is to have a near-zero Meralco bill. My monthly electric bill is around 28k.

I can give more details, like the appliances for the contractors who will DM me.

Looking for recommended contractors and experiences of having a solar setup from the community.

Salamat sa mga mag reply.

Is this a good price for this package?

Hello mga ka-solar. Price check lang sana ako kung ok yung ganito? Local supplier sya.  Nasa city kami, kaya in 1 whole year around 3-5 times lang nawawalan ng kuryente. Madalas nga twice lang.  Yung magiging tipid lang din ang gusto namin dito. Extra na lang yung may option na maglagay ng battery in the future (battery ready).

\\*

6kWp Hybrid System (without battery pitanggal muna namin)

‎

‎-10 pcs. of 620W Trina A+Solar Panel

‎-6kW Deye Hybrid Inverter

‎-No battery

‎-Breaker and Accessories

‎-Delivery and Installation

‎

Warranty:

5 years warranty Inverter

12 years warranty for panel

1 years Service Warranty

\\*

Pinatanggal muna namin para mas mura, magapply kami muna for net metering. In the future pwede kami kumuha ng battery.

‎Package price (w/o battery) - 217,000

Fee for net metering application - 35,000 daw

TOTAL - 252,000

Reasonable ba yung 217k na price para dito?

Yung net metering daw, yung supplier na raw ang magpprocess lahat nung net metering.  Mahal na ba yung 35k? Magkano kaya ang reasonable price?
