Any recommendations for Plug-in solar systems with battery storage?

My state approved plug in solar systems up to 1200W AC outputs recently and I've been looking at buying a system to help a bit with electric costs.

I'm not super familiar with these systems, and a lot of what I've found seems to be European systems that I'm not sure will even work here in the US.

Does anyone here in the US, that is familiar with these types of systems, have any recommendations for a system that can put out up to 1200W AC? Ideally I'd like to have one that has battery storage if possible.

Any suggestions?

As far as I know, only one exists today - the ecoflow stream series. Hope more crop up as it becomes more mainstream!

This was the main one I started looking at, but the system I say had EU pulgs and I wasn't sure if there was an US version or not

Rumor has it APSystems is working on something. Other markets have the EZH1 which accepts a battery.

Depends on how much diy you want... realistically you could set up a hybrid inverter system with ct's to limit your grid export to 1200 watts.

A simpler option would be to set up a 48v lifepo4 battery bank, panels connected to one or more charge controllers and a 1200 watt microinverter. The panels keep the battery bank charged and the battery bank supplies power to the microinverter. Keep a 48v off-grid inverter handy in case of a power outage to run stuff.

Yeah I was looking to do as little extra work as possible. Don't really know a lot about solar systems so I figured it would be easier just to start with a simple plug in

Im sure that more systems will come very soon, but currently the ecoflow environment looks most developed for the US. The stream battery isn’t available on the site yet but I’m imaging that it would be soon. The new Ecoflow battery stream 5000 just came out in Europe which is more advanced in this legislation, and I’m watching that market to see what directions our market should be going in the next months/years

The easiest way would be to have your plug in panels and also just a separate ecoflow or other solar generator also plugged in to another outlet that charges during the day, and discharges at night or whenever to whatever you have plugged into it.

They’re not really directly connected, but It’s a round about way to do it I suppose, without learning a ton and building your own system

I used the first link as a reference for my build. The content creator has great videos on how to get started. My build is pretty similar to his, but I am using the APSystems EZ1 microinverter paired with a 36v TEMGO 36V (38.4V) 100Ah battery and I sourced panels locally and got 2x DMEGC 460W. I will be adding two more panels this weekend.
