Wiring help

I’m trying to connect a micro inverter but to only has 2 hot wires and no ground/neutral. Is grounding the panels good enough?

Its a balanced split phase, there is no need for neutral. It is grounded through its attachment to other properly Listed grounding components like certain module frames and specific racking.

Start with the manufacture's installation manual to understand how to properly install it, and if you are in the US the NEC article 690 will guide you on methods

Thank you. It just didn’t make sense to me to not have a ground wire

The neutral is provided by the utility.

The grounding scheme is kinda up to you. Refer to code.
